ROC 103c — ROC-ON (ROC PRIMED Refresher)
Documentation
It is your responsibility to download the electronic ECG record from the AED or cardiac monitor and forward it to your agency or study coordinator
per local guidelines. If an ITD is opened, attach the label to the patient care report or enter the ID in the electronic patient care
record, other cardiac arrest forms used at your agency and the ED record (if the patient survives to the hospital).
As soon as you have transferred care of the patient, notify your study coordinator that you enrolled a patient in the trial.
You should also document the following in the patient care report:
- Time ITD was placed and first time it was removed
- Mask and type of advanced airway ITD was attached to
- Time CPR started
- How much CPR was done before first analysis
- Time advanced airway was established
- Problems with ITD (e.g., problems maintaining a tight seal with the mask)
- If ITD was removed because it filled with fluid
- If filter was used and the type
- If ITD is opened report ITD number
- Note if patient vomited before or after ITD was used
- Any suspected adverse event even if it seems unrelated

Notify study coordinator about every cardiac arrest in which CPR or defibrillation has occurred, not just the cases where an ITD was used.
