Aspirin Administration for ACS
Contraindications — When Not to Give Aspirin

There are three contraindications for administering aspirin. They are:

  • Allergy to aspirin or ibuprofen (e.g., Motrin® or Advil®)
  • Patient has just taken 325 mg aspirin for this event
  • Systolic blood pressure in both arms is different by more than 15 mm Hg
